Direct data import from any Parasolid-based CAD system means that machining can begin in minutes instead of wrestling with time-consuming and potentially problematic export of data to a neutral format such as IGES or STEP. Whether you use Siemens NX, SolidWorks®, Solid Edge® or any other popular Parasolid-based CAD system, you can be assured of fast and 100% accurate data transfer.

Prospector Licensing Options

Licensing options for Prospector includes node-locked and floating licenses. Prospector uses the industry-leading FlexLM™ floating license solution from Flexera® to simplify deployment and management of software licenses. Node-locked licenses for Windows utilize a USB compatible hardware key. Both forms of licensing offer the option for cloud licensing whereby the software can be run on a server yet handle multiple clients.


System Requirements

Prospector runs on Windows® XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2008 are also supported.  A native 64-bit edition of Prospector is available to take full advantage of the additional RAM possible with 64-bit editions of Windows. Recommended computer specifications for 3D programming with Prospector are:
  • Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8 - 64-bit Edition
  • Intel® Core™ or Xeon® processor or equivalent.
  • 8 Gb. of memory. 16 Gb. of memory recommended.
  • OpenGL capable graphics.
